Solo Retreats
Are you looking to escape the daily stresses of life and lose yourself in the magic of the natural world? The 200 acres of Lazy River Playground and Retreat Center are the perfect place for it with its old growth trees, the Grasse River, and beautiful trails. Connecting with the forest and the flowing water helps to recharge your spirit and clear your mind.
Our Solo Retreats are self-directed outside of planned healing sessions. You can meditate by the waterfall, kayak along the river, and wander the trails. The Solo Retreats are offered seasonally from May to the end of October. The prices below are for 1 night for one person. It is possible to add more nights as well as more guided Forest Bathing experiences and Reiki sessions. *Ask about a Semi-Solo Retreat and bring a friend. The sleeping cabins are cozy and warm. The bathhouse is close by with an outdoor shower among the pines.. Linens, blankets and pillows are provided. Bring your own towels.
There is a community refrigerator and a grill for your use. Dishes and silverware are provided in each cabin.
Immerse yourself in healing. Enjoy a 1 hour Reiki or Spiritual Counseling session and then let the healing energy of the forest wash over you with a guided forest bathing experience during your stay.
The Forest Healing Retreat includes your own cabin, a Reiki session, a guided forest bathing experience, a solo sit spot location for contemplation, and a continental breakfast. You will have access to the waterfront so feel free to bring your bathing suit, kayak or paddle board.
